Can I fix an off-key or out-of-tune vocal recording? Yes. IchiPitchy detects the notes and the key you sang in, then Auto-Tune snaps flat or sharp notes to the correct scale. The Level control sets how hard they snap and Smooth decides how much natural vibrato survives. For a single bad note, drag that note block on the piano roll instead of retuning the whole take.
Is there a free online alternative to a DAW for vocals? Is the backing band AI-generated? No. The parts are built with rule-based music theory from the style, key, meter, groove and chord progression you choose, not by a generative AI model. The same settings always produce the same take, and you can reroll for a different one.
Which time signatures are supported? Simple and compound meters including 4/4, 3/4, 2/4, 2/2, 6/8, 9/8 and 12/8, plus irregular and additive meters such as 5/4, 5/8, 7/8, 9/8 daichovo and 11/8 kopanitsa. Each meter has drum grooves written specifically for it.
Can I use chords outside the key, like a major V in a minor key? Yes. The chord editor is not limited to the seven diatonic chords — secondary dominants, borrowed and modal-interchange chords, and 7th, 9th, sus and power chords are all available. Every chord can also have its own length, so one bar can hold a single chord while the next splits in two.

How do I write a good AI music prompt? Name the genre, then two to four instruments, then the mood, then the production style — for example “warm late-night lo-fi, mellow Rhodes, brushed drums, upright bass, tape hiss”. Specific descriptions beat short ones. Keep the tempo natural for the genre you asked for; pushing a genre far from its usual tempo is where results get least predictable.
